Terms of Service

My Equipment Scout is a buyer-side equipment sourcing and research service. We help you find, evaluate, and compare equipment offered by third parties. We do not sell equipment, hold inventory, or act as a dealer, broker, or agent for any seller.

Our deliverable is research and recommendations (a 'Scout Report'). Any purchase decision, negotiation, and transaction is solely between you and the third-party seller.

We research the market using sources we believe to be reliable, but we do not guarantee that we will find suitable equipment, that any listing is accurate or available, or that any transaction will close on particular terms.

Prices, hours, specifications, condition, and availability are set and controlled by third parties and can change at any time. You must independently verify all details with the seller before purchasing.

One-time search plans are billed once per search. Equipment Watch plans are recurring subscriptions billed monthly until cancelled. Prices are shown at checkout and processed by our payment provider.

You authorize us to charge the applicable fees to your selected payment method. Subscription plans renew automatically until you cancel.

You agree to provide accurate information about your requirements, and to conduct your own due diligence — including inspection and title/lien verification — before buying any equipment.

You are responsible for evaluating the suitability, legality, and safety of any equipment you choose to purchase.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for the service giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for the acts or omissions of any third-party seller.

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
